Had the opportunity to stay for a week with friends at this resort in Cabo. Let me start by saying 5 stars for the service and staff. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. It is also evident that the regulars have really made a personal connection with the staff, it really made for a special experience. I have 4 stars for the location because while you are right on the water in the cove, they did allow a huge restaurant and massage parlor to be built right in front and it takes away from what was once an amazing view. I have 3 stars for rooms because they are showing their age and it does not appear that investments have been put into the rooms. Cabinet doors are falling off their hinges, the toilet paper holder was barely attached to the wall and hanging loose, and the room needs a refresh. The TV is much too small for the space it sits in. The common areas were well maintained including a nice gym, pool and spa, but at least the two rooms we were in could use some updating. They also have 7 different food concepts on property with a very large assortment of options, including an all vegan menu at one restaurant which was a very pleasant surprise. Overall, would not have any concerns with staying here again.

This is a lovely, classy resort, right on the beach with ideal views of the arch, great ambiance, and walkable to the Marina and all of downtown Cabo. It is the best spot for superbowl watching and hanging at thee pool or beach, directly at Medano. Erick and Rubi manage the spa to perfection. They make sure that everything is super-pampering. I strongly recommend the Saltwater Signature Massage for 80 minutes with Aguada, as your therapist! It is absolutely heavenly with hot rocks, hot towels and head to toe dreamy attention. Emilio at the pool is the most caring attendant, and always smiling. Lunch can be ordered from 3 restaurants at the same time. One day we ate crispy fish tacos, delicious salmon sashimi and a fabulous crispy thin veggie pizza - no problem! Anahi, the Front Desk Manager is super helpful and kind. Brandon, the bellman was always there to help with whatever we needed. We felt very happy and cared for.

We had our wedding at Casa Dorada in Cabo, and it was truly beyond anything we could have imagined. From the moment we arrived to the final goodbye, every detail was thoughtful, seamless, and absolutely magical. When we first checked in, the team surprised us with champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and custom wine glasses waiting in our room. It was such a thoughtful and personal welcome — the perfect way to kick off our wedding weekend. Those little touches immediately made us feel celebrated and cared for. The resort itself is stunning, with breathtaking ocean views and beautifully maintained grounds. Every one of our guests raved about their stay — the spacious rooms, the amazing food, and the exceptional service. The staff consistently went above and beyond, always warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the weekend special for everyone. And I cannot say enough about Katherine, our wedding coordinator. She was absolutely incredible. Organized, calm, professional, and detail-oriented — she made the entire planning process feel effortless. On the wedding day, everything flowed perfectly. She anticipated every need and executed our vision flawlessly. Having her by our side gave us so much peace of mind. One of the most unforgettable moments was after the wedding. When we returned to our room as newlyweds, the staff had surprised us again — the room was beautifully decorated with rose petals and the sweetest romantic touches. Walking into that after such an amazing night was the perfect ending to the most incredible day. It meant so much to us. Another huge reason we chose Casa Dorada is the location — and it truly could not be better. You can easily walk to the marina, downtown Cabo, and all of the fun beach bars and restaurants. None of our guests needed rental cars or Ubers the entire weekend. Everything was convenient, safe, and right at our fingertips, which made the experience so relaxed and enjoyable for everyone. If you are considering a destination wedding in Cabo, Casa Dorada is simply the best choice. Stunning setting, impeccable service, thoughtful surprises, and a team that genuinely cares about making your celebration unforgettable. We are so grateful to the entire staff for giving us the wedding weekend of our dreams. We cannot wait to return and relive the memories.

I loved the location right on the beach. Only deterrent was the Mango Deck and The Office right in front with loud music late night. It sounded like it was in my room with me. If you're a partier and up late, you'll probably be there instead of in your room like me (I'm getting old and not staying out as late, ). Big rooms, great pools and Jacuzzi. Super friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere. Food was ok, not terrific, but what can I expect? Would prefer to eat at other places nearby. Lots of options within walking distance!

I booked a last-minute trip here for NYE and my stay was great! First, I booked the 1-bedroom King suite and the room was HUGE. I had a full kitchen, shower, bathtub, living room, a separate bedroom, and two balconies overlooking the pool and sea. There was a New Year’s Eve dinner with open bar, so I decided to buy a ticket. The food was delicious and they even had a sushi bar. I met some cool people at my table and the music/dancing was great too. This resort is right on the beach, so you simply walk downstairs through a gate and you can participate in all kinds of activities. I did jet skiing and had a couple massages at nearby beachfront parlors. It’s a swimmable beach too! There are plenty of shops/restaurants within walking distance, and the marina and downtown are also within walking distance. The room was kept clean and the staff were great. The only negative I have is that the breakfast buffet wasn’t great. After that experience, I decided to eat off of the resort for the rest of my stay. I almost forgot to mention the pool which is great too! Although it’s not a party pool and there are kids around, the swim up bar was nice. Overall you really can’t beat the room quality and location. I’d definitely come back!

We were with a tour so we did t stay in the resort. But this was one of our stops. We had drinks and chicken taquitos (which were delicious) the resort had a dedicated area for the vendors that are all over the beach selling their stuff, so they cant keep coming up to you to bother you while you enjoy the weather, beach and it was easy to relax. They also have lounge chairs with umbrellas.

Initially, we had booked a smaller suite but neglected to tell them it was my spouse and I actually celebrating our honeymoon. I called some 2-3 days prior to our stay and they said they would see what they could do. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a king suite, complimentary champagne, and a beautiful view of the rocks. The service, amenities, cleanliness, and overall professionalism of each staff member ranks (for us) an unambiguous 5/5 stars. Next time we visit Cabo we are definitely staying at Casa Dorada!

Nice hotel, good beach access with private beach seating, walking distance to downtown. Two good massage parlors right out the beach gate which are a lot cheaper than the in house one. Second time back here. Good value on hotel stay. Haven’t done the all-inclusive. - staff is very attentive - food and drinks are not cheap - mini bar products are extremely expensive
